Expanding Our Children’s Residential Homes in Lancashire

It’s an exciting time here at First Blue Healthcare. We have acquired a new company to expand our children’s homes services. Nurture Childcare Services provides specialist residential care and supported living for young people in the Northwest and has a total of six homes, with another opening shortly. The homes are located across Lancashire and look after a range of young people of all ages. They are lovely homes and have the capacity to accommodate anything from one to five children.

Recruiting New Staff in the Northwest

The transition is going well, and we are looking to recruit new staff to join the existing highly skilled and well-qualified teams. We have LD (learning disability) and EBD (emotional behavioural disabilities) homes. Nurture Childcare Services is an established company with a diverse staff team who are well trained and committed to caring for the young people living in their homes.

The team has taken well to the transition and all managers have their own mentors in the West Midlands region. This is to help answer any questions and support them through the changeover, with daily phone calls, emails, and visits. We at First Blue Healthcare fully understand the importance of supporting our managers who then, in turn, support their teams. This ultimately leads to great care for our young people enabling them to flourish.
